Internal Auditor

The Internal Auditor is responsible for conducting transactional, complex, and sensitive audits to ensure the company’s operations comply with internal policies, procedures, and applicable regulations. The role evaluates internal controls, identifies financial and operational risks, and recommends process improvements. Key responsibilities include developing and executing audit programs to assess the effectiveness of internal controls, preparing detailed audit reports with findings and recommendations, interacting with management and stakeholders to address audit findings, and ensuring the implementation of audit recommendations. The auditor will inspect transactions and supporting documents for accuracy, analyze control gaps, and provide advice on internal controls to improve audit standards. Additionally, the role involves supervising and mentoring junior auditors, preparing periodic summary reports, and staying updated with the latest auditing standards and best practices.

BA or MA Degree in Accounting, Accounting & Finance, or a related field; Minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience; Internal auditing skills; Accounting skills; Complex data analysis and problem-solving skills; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Audit report writing and presentation skills; Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; Strong time management skills; High moral and ethical standards; Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
