Job Description
The Supply Chain Management Associate will support the management of assets and logistics operations within UNOPS in Juba, South Sudan. Primary responsibilities include coordinating procurement processes, managing inventory of assets, ensuring compliance with UNOPS and UN financial regulations, and facilitating the timely delivery of goods and services. The role involves working closely with procurement teams, logistics providers, and field operations to ensure efficient supply chain operations. Key deliverables include maintaining accurate asset records, preparing procurement documentation, and supporting audits and reporting. The position requires adherence to UNOPS ethical standards and commitment to sustainable and transparent procurement practices.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in supply chain management, procurement, or logistics; knowledge of UN financial regulations and procurement procedures; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); strong analytical and organizational skills; ability to work in a multicultural and fast-paced environment; fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory; additional language skills (e.g., Arabic) are desirable.
