Finance Accountant

Our client, a global leader in business strategy consulting, is seeking to recruit a Finance Accountant responsible for managing core accounting functions. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Finance & Strategy, the ideal candidate should have prior experience within a business accounting department. Key Responsibilities - Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements and US GAAP, oversee month-end and year-end close processes, maintain balance sheet reconciliations, and prepare statutory financial statements. - Oversee supplier onboarding, invoice processing and allocation, employee expense claims, corporate credit card administration, and timely payment of vendors and employees. - Review and oversee the filing of VAT, WHT, WHVAT, instalment tax, and corporate tax returns, while serving as the primary liaison with tax authorities. - Coordinate internal and external audits, work closely with external accounting firms, and ensure compliance with financial control and reporting requirements. - Maintain the Fixed Asset Register, monitor asset tracking, conduct expense reviews, and strengthen financial controls and governance processes. - Manage intercompany invoicing and reconciliations, coordinate settlements with the netting center and regional finance teams, administer withholding tax requirements, and prepare payment files.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline. - Must be CPA (K) or ACCA Finalist - Relevant Experience of up to 5 years in accounting, finance, financial reporting, tax, or a related finance function. - Technical Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and experience using financial systems such as SAP, Coupa, or similar ERP platforms. - Strong Analytical Skills with the ability to interpret financial data, identify issues, and provide practical solutions. - Excellent Communication and Attention to Detail, with strong interpersonal skills, a commitment to accuracy, and the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
