Job Description
Assessing, planning, implementing nursing interventions, and evaluating patient outcomes. Providing comprehensive healthcare services including Integrated Management of Childhood Illnesses (IMCI), immunization, Prevention of Mother-To-Child Transmission (PMTCT), ante-natal care and delivery. Delivering health education and counseling to patients, clients, and the community on identified health needs. Referring patients and clients to appropriate healthcare facilities or specialists as required. Facilitating patient admission processes and initiating discharge planning. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records on patients' health conditions and care provided. Ensuring a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment. Collecting and compiling health-related data for reporting and analysis purposes.
Requirements
Diploma in any of the following disciplines: Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing; Kenya Registered Nursing; Kenya Registered Midwifery; Kenya Registered Nursing/Midwifery; or Kenya Registered Nursing/Mental Health and Psychiatry from a recognized institution; Registration Certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Kenya; Valid practicing license from Nursing Council of Kenya; Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution.
