The DRC Senior MEL (Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning) Program Associate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing the MEL framework for program activities in the Democratic Republic of Congo. This role involves developing robust data collection systems, conducting regular performance assessments, and ensuring data-driven decision-making to enhance program impact. The associate will collaborate closely with program teams to integrate MEL practices into daily operations, train staff on MEL tools and methodologies, and produce high-quality reports for donors and stakeholders. Additionally, the role requires strong analytical skills to interpret data trends, identify gaps, and recommend strategic improvements to maximize program effectiveness.

Bachelor’s degree in Monitoring and Evaluation, Statistics, Economics, or a related field; minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in MEL, preferably in agricultural development or humanitarian sectors; proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., SPSS, Stata, R); strong quantitative and qualitative research skills; experience with mobile data collection tools (e.g., ODK, KoBoToolbox); excellent report-writing and presentation skills; fluency in French and English; ability to work in remote and challenging environments.
