Category Lead – Marketing (Hygiene/Beverages/Food+Snacks)

This role is responsible for developing and executing category marketing strategies aligned with business growth objectives for hygiene, beverages, and food & snacks sectors. The Category Lead will lead brand positioning and deliver Above-The-Line (ATL), Below-The-Line (BTL), digital, and trade marketing campaigns. Key responsibilities include driving in-store activations, collaborating with Sales and RTM teams to enhance product visibility and market performance, supporting new product launches, and portfolio development through cross-functional collaboration. The role involves monitoring category performance, market share, pricing, promotions, and marketing ROI, as well as preparing business reviews and leveraging consumer insights to drive continuous improvement.

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field Marketing Strategy CIM, MBA, or other professional marketing qualifications are an added advantage 5-8 years of FMCG marketing experience, including at least 3 years in Brand or Category Management Experience in the Hygiene, Beverages, or Food & Snacks sectors is highly preferred Strong understanding of traditional and modern trade channels and trade marketing Proven experience developing marketing strategies, managing budgets, agencies, and cross-functional projects Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and commercial decision-making skills Knowledge of pricing strategy, portfolio management, BI tools, digital marketing platforms, and SAP S/4HANA is an added advantage
