• Cut, shape, fit, and weld metal components using appropriate welding techniques. • Fabricate, modify, and repair machinery, equipment, pipelines, and structural components based on technical drawings and work instructions. • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication. • Inspect completed welds and fabricated components to ensure they meet quality standards and technical specifications. • Carry out routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of welding machines, tools, and related equipment. • Assist in preventive and corrective maintenance activities requiring • fabrication or welding support. • Identify damaged or worn-out metal parts and recommend appropriate repair or replacement solutions. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with workplace housekeeping standards. • Ensure proper handling, storage, and usage of welding equipment, gases, and consumables. • Strictly adhere to Occupational Health & Safety (OHS), fire safety, environmental, and company Biosecurity requirements at all times. • Certificate or Diploma in Welding and Fabrication, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field. • Valid welding certification. • Minimum of 2 years’ practical experience in welding and fabrication within a manufacturing or industrial environment. • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication plans.
