Job Description
Leads the Mine Action Programme strategy and work plan, ensuring timely delivery of outputs and alignment with national and regional priorities. Oversees programmatic activities, budget management, and resource mobilization while ensuring technical, safety, and quality standards are met. Manages staff performance, fosters teamwork, and represents the mission in international, regional, or national meetings.
Requirements
Advanced university degree (Master’s preferred) in International Relations, Political Science, Public Administration, or a related field. A minimum of 15 years of progressively responsible experience in programme management, preferably in mine action, disarmament, or conflict/post-conflict environments. Demonstrated leadership in strategic planning, budget oversight, and stakeholder coordination. Strong communication, accountability, and professional competencies as outlined by UN standards.
