Strategic Partnerships Manager / Senior Associate (Fixed-Term)

This role will manage some of One Acre Fund’s highest-value donor partnerships, leading the coordination and monitoring of grant-funded activities. The position involves driving thematic partnerships in conservation agriculture, women/youth farmer engagement, and smallholder insurance. Responsibilities include project management and coordination with program teams to set goals and design project activities, collaborative problem-solving with staff to address challenges, and ensuring program fluency by spending dedicated time in the field with farmers and staff. The role also involves owning and managing key donor relationships, acting as the main point of contact for all funder communications, delivering high-quality narrative and financial updates, and managing grant administration tasks such as data tracking, invoices, and ensuring grant operations run smoothly. The position reports to leaders within the Global Business Development team and coordinates closely with program leaders across One Acre Fund’s 9,000+ full-time staff.

Bachelor’s degree in International Development, Public Policy, Business, Economics, or a related field; 5-10 years of professional experience in international development, strategic partnerships, grant management, consulting, or project management; experience in a public-facing role and with managing external stakeholders is preferred; strong writing and communication skills; excellent organizational skills with a willingness to take initiative and be proactive; proven negotiation and problem-solving skills; comfort with data and working in Google Sheets; fluency in English required.
