Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic Maintenance Technician based at Jambojet in Nairobi, Kenya. In this key role, you will execute aircraft servicing to ensure airworthiness, manage training compliance for technical staff, and maintain schedule integrity for flight operations. The position involves performing routine inspections, troubleshooting mechanical and avionics issues, and ensuring all maintenance activities adhere to aviation safety standards and regulatory requirements. You will work in a collaborative environment alongside engineers, pilots, and ground crew to support Jambojet's mission of providing affordable air travel while maintaining the highest safety standards. The role requires hands-on technical expertise and a commitment to continuous learning to keep up with evolving aviation technologies.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in aeronautical engineering; at least 2 years of aircraft maintenance experience; necessary technical certifications (e.g., EASA Part-66, FAA Airframe and Powerplant license, or equivalent); strong understanding of aircraft systems and maintenance procedures; ability to work under pressure and in a team environment; attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
