Job Description
Operate and maintain road roller machinery to ensure proper compaction of asphalt and soil layers during road construction projects. Responsible for following project specifications, safety protocols, and quality control measures. Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any mechanical issues. Work closely with site engineers and supervisors to ensure project timelines are met. Operate within designated work zones and adhere to all occupational health and safety regulations.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; minimum 3 years of experience as a Roller Operator in road construction; valid Ethiopian driver's license with heavy machinery endorsement; knowledge of road construction standards and safety regulations; ability to read and interpret engineering drawings; physical fitness to operate heavy machinery for extended periods; basic computer skills for reporting.
