Rwanda Seed Sample Reception and Data Entry

Seeking a detail-oriented, people-friendly Seed Sample Receptionist & Data Entry Officer to ensure accurate sample registration, data integrity, and smooth communication with a range of stakeholders. The role involves receiving, verifying, and coding incoming seed samples, allocating them to required tests while maintaining detailed logs for traceability. Responsibilities include accurately logging test results into the management system, maintaining up-to-date tracking logs, and collaborating with SQSS to generate and store compliant documentation. The position serves as the main point of contact for handling inquiries, complaints, and updates, ensuring a professional client experience while routing issues to appropriate staff. Additionally, the role involves coordinating and preparing the laboratory for visits by clients, researchers, or interns, managing schedules, safety compliance, and visit logs. The position offers a strong culture of constant learning with weekly check-ins with the manager, access to mentorship and training programs, and regular feedback on performance. Career reviews are held every six months to discuss aspirations and career goals.

Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or related fields; 6–12 months of experience in front-facing customer service, reception, or administrative support within an agricultural, laboratory, or agribusiness setting; basic knowledge of seed testing processes; communication skills (must speak Kinyarwanda & English); eligibility restricted to citizens or permanent residents of Rwanda.
