• The incumbent will be required to adhere to all relevant requirements, policies, procedures and legal regulations pertaining to health, safety, environment and quality, as well as finance, human resources, and any other regulations as required by the company and relevant to the level of the role and responsibilities of the function. • Contribute to the safety process improvements of the mine • Successfully complete structured training programs and assessments across relevant OT systems, mining equipment and departments • Enquire from all colleagues to develop skill transfer • Critically assess all production processes for potential improvements • Support departmental technology projects from concept through implementation. • Support data collection, validation, and analysis to improve mining processes and decision-making • Assist in troubleshooting system issues, coordinating with IT, Maintenance and other teams where necessary. • Prepare and deliver periodic progress reports, technical summaries, training and project updates to stakeholders • Present completed project outcomes to operational and management teams. • Perform administrative duties related to OT documentation, change management, and system configuration updates. • Other duties as directed by the Direct Supervisor • Grade12 Certificate • Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent • Member of EIZ
