Prescription Dispensing: Interpret, process, and dispense prescription medications; instruct patients on correct dosage usage and potential side effects. Customer Advisory & Care: Assist customers with over-the-counter (OTC) products, health supplements, and general wellness inquiries. Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, apply First-Expired, First-Out (FEFO) inventory management, conduct stock counts, and ensure proper storage. Compliance & Standards: Enforce strict hygiene, safety, and operational protocols in accordance with Pharmacy Council of Tanzania regulations. Administration & Record Keeping: Log daily sales, maintain prescription registers, and input records into the pharmacy database. Qualifications & Requirements Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution. Licensing: Valid registration or enrollment with the Pharmacy Council of Tanzania. Experience: Minimum 1 to 2 years of practical experience in a retail, hospital, or community pharmacy environment. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of pharmaceutical products, dosage calculations, and proficiency in MS Office and pharmacy point-of-sale systems.
