Tender for Provision of Transport Services for CRS Staff

Catholic Relief Services – United States Conference of Catholic Bishops’ office in Rwanda (CRS/Rwanda) is inviting eligible commercial companies in Rwanda to supply transport services for its staff. The selected transport company will be responsible for providing daily transport services for CRS staff, including travel from Kigali (CRS Office) to specified districts in Northern, Southern, Eastern, Western Provinces, and Kigali Town, as well as within those districts. The transport options include 4WD Jeeps, Minibuses, Coasters, and Small Cars, all with drivers. The company must adhere to eligibility criteria, including valid operating licenses, tax compliance, and a clean legal record. The contract involves submitting financial and technical offers, specifying if prices are VAT inclusive, and providing required documentation such as operating licenses, TIN/VAT numbers, tax clearance certificates, and company background. The selected company will be responsible for all logistical arrangements and ensuring timely, safe, and reliable transport services for CRS staff across Rwanda.

The bidder must be an experienced transport company registered and operating in Rwanda with a valid Tax Identification Number (TIN) or VAT registration number; at least 5 years of experience in providing transport services; three big references with contracts totaling 3 million RWF or above, duly attested by the contract signatories; operating licenses (working permits and trading license); tax clearance certificate from the Rwanda Revenue Authority (RRA); certificates for duty completion from previous services; and a maximum one-page company identification and background document. The bidder must also ensure no pending cases with the police against the proprietor, firm, partner, or company.
