Job Description
This role focuses on channel visitations to drive retailer awareness and turnaround on SIMs and Float while ensuring visibility and merchandising at point of purchase for SSOs (Selling Service Outlets) and T-Kash agents. The Trade Development Representative will report to the Area Sales Manager and be responsible for identifying and recruiting agents, primarily targeting mobile money outlets and high-traffic retail stores. Key responsibilities include visiting SSOs and agents regularly using agreed route plans (beat plans), providing and training agents on business tools, enforcing stock rules (1.5x stock rule for agents), and ensuring SSOs have adequate SIM stock for new registrations and activations. The role also involves developing and maintaining merchandising standards by availing merchandising materials at SSO and agent outlets, as well as training agents on AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and SSOs on KYC (Know Your Customer) processes related to SIMREG.
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelorβs Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; At least 1 year of experience in sales and distribution roles within FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) or telecommunications sectors; Customer focus; Influencing and negotiation skills; Networking and partnership-building abilities; Analytical thinking.
