Senior Pharmaceutical Water Plant Technician
Job Description
This role involves overseeing and maintaining pharmaceutical water systems, including Water for Injection (WFI), Purified Water Systems (PWS), and Pure Steam Generators (PSG). The Senior Pharmaceutical Water Plant Technician will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and WHO-GMP standards, performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting system issues, and ensuring the uninterrupted supply of high-quality water for pharmaceutical production. The position requires adherence to strict regulatory requirements, documentation of all processes, and collaboration with quality assurance teams to maintain product integrity and safety. Additionally, the role may involve training junior staff on system operations and safety protocols.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry or a related field; 5ā6 years of experience in pharmaceutical water plant operations; hands-on expertise with WFI, PSG and PWS systems; knowledge of WHO-GMP compliance standards; strong problem-solving and analytical skills; ability to work in a regulated environment.
