Part-time Lecturer in Public Finance and Fiscal Policy

This role involves teaching part-time courses in Public Finance and Fiscal Policy at an academic institution. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering lectures, preparing course materials, assessing student performance, and providing academic support to students. The position requires a strong understanding of fiscal policy frameworks, public finance principles, and their practical applications in policy-making and economic development. The lecturer will engage with students in interactive sessions, facilitate discussions on current fiscal policies, and guide research projects related to public finance. Additionally, the role may include mentoring students and contributing to curriculum development in these specialized areas.

Bachelor's degree in Economics, Public Finance, or a related field; Master's degree is preferred. Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in Public Finance or Fiscal Policy; experience in curriculum development is an added advantage. Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to simplify complex fiscal concepts for students. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and statistical software (e.g., STATA, EViews) is required. Knowledge of Kenyan fiscal policies and international public finance frameworks will be highly valued.
