Security Supervisor

Lead security operations and asset protection for a manufacturing firm in Kampala. Duties, Roles and Responsibilities - Conduct regular security and business risk audits and facilitate implementation of corrective actions to address potential security risks. - Receive, verify asset movement and duly authorize transfer/ movement of the assets with in and out of company premises. - Regularly monitors the functionality of security equipment (CCTV, alarm systems) and promptly report incidents to management with probable solutions. - Research, develop and recommend strategic interventions for security operations to improve company security. - Assist in conducting investigations into fraud and other crimes committed on the company premises and recommend courses of action. - Regularly issue security advisory to staff and customers about imminent security threats and fraudulent activities. - Participate in designing, implementation, and review of security management processes and policies at all levels of the company. - Work closely with relevant security organs outside the company on matters of security, crime prevention and investigation. - Accountable for operational expenses (Financial and Budgetary responsibility). - Accountable for all operational work tools (Asset responsibility). - Engage contracted service providers to carry out routine service & diagnosis of all security equipment.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in security management or a related field; strong leadership and team management skills; knowledge of security equipment (CCTV, alarm systems); ability to conduct risk audits and investigations; familiarity with security management processes and policies; financial and budgetary responsibility experience; asset management skills; excellent communication and advisory skills.
