Marketing Manager
Job Description
Our client, a leading player in the alcoholic beverages industry in Tanzania, is seeking to recruit an experienced Marketing Manager to develop and execute integrated marketing strategies that build strong, commercially successful, and distinctive brands. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving brand growth, strengthening market competitiveness, enhancing consumer engagement, and delivering measurable returns on marketing investments. Key Responsibilities - Develop and implement brand strategies and annual marketing plans aligned with business growth objectives. - Conduct market research, consumer analysis, and competitor monitoring to identify opportunities and inform decision-making. - Lead integrated marketing campaigns across digital, trade, experiential, and public relations channels to drive brand awareness and sales. - Partner with Sales teams to improve product visibility, distribution, trade activations, and market penetration. - Manage new product development initiatives, including concept development, launch planning, commercialization, and performance evaluation. - Ensure all marketing activities comply with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and responsible marketing practices. - Prepare and manage marketing budgets, track campaign performance, and provide insights on return on investment and key performance indicators. - Lead, coach, and develop the marketing team while managing relationships with external agencies, distributors, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. - Minimum of 7 years’ experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in a managerial role, preferably within FMCG, beverages, or consumer goods industries. - Strong knowledge of brand management, consumer insights, trade marketing, and integrated marketing communications. - Proven experience in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns that deliver measurable business results. - Strong analytical, budgeting, project management, and stakeholder management skills. - Excellent leadership, communication, and team development capabilities with a results-oriented mindset.
