• Attend to patients by conducting thorough history taking, clinical examination, diagnosis, and treatment in accordance with established medical standards. • Respond promptly and efficiently to medical emergencies presenting to the health facility. • Prescribe medications responsibly and ensure the rational use of pharmaceuticals. • Order and interpret diagnostic tests and utilize available support services (Laboratory, Radiology, Physiotherapy, etc.) appropriately. • Refer patients to specialists or consultants when necessary and coordinate patient management plans. • Maintain accurate, detailed, and confidential medical records. • Supervise and mentor clinical and support staff where applicable. • Participate in ward rounds, case discussions, and multidisciplinary team meetings. • Promote preventive healthcare and patient education on disease and trauma management in addition to lifestyle modification. • Observe strict medical ethics, professionalism, and patient confidentiality at all times. • Keep abreast of medical advancements, emerging treatments, and clinical best practices. • Grade 12 Certificate. • MB ChB (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery), MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery), MD or equivalent. • Prior clinical experience in a private hospital setting will be an added advantage. • Fully registered with the Health Professions Council of Zambia (HPCZ) – Post Internship.
