Job Description
Preparation of meals in accordance with established menus and recipes to ensure quality and consistency. Maintains cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils. Assists in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages. Collaborates with the kitchen team to ensure timely meal service for customers or staff. Follows food safety and sanitation standards as per regulatory requirements. May assist in training junior kitchen staff where necessary.
Requirements
Minimum KCSE certificate or equivalent; basic food handling certificate; prior experience in a similar role is an advantage; strong communication skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; physical stamina for standing and moving for extended periods.
