Job Description
The Local Community Engagement Expert will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and monitoring community engagement initiatives that align with humanitarian and development objectives. The position involves direct interaction with local communities to assess needs, gather feedback, and ensure that project activities are inclusive and responsive to community priorities. The expert will collaborate closely with field teams, local leaders, and beneficiaries to foster trust and participation in project activities. Additionally, the role includes documenting lessons learned, best practices, and community feedback to inform future programming. Requirements
Bachelor's degree in social sciences, community development, or related field; minimum 3 years of experience in community engagement, preferably in urban or humanitarian settings; strong interpersonal, facilitation, and cultural sensitivity skills.
