Branch Credit Operation Officer

This role is responsible for providing comprehensive information to customers through multiple channels including telephone, email, and in-person interactions. The Branch Credit Operation Officer will obtain and compile critical financial documents such as loan applicants' credit histories, corporate financial statements, and other relevant financial information to support credit decision-making processes. The incumbent will review and update credit and loan files in the system to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards. Additionally, the officer will prepare loan agreements, verify their completeness, and ensure all necessary documentation is in place before submission for approval. The role requires meticulous attention to detail and strong communication skills to liaise effectively with customers, internal teams, and external stakeholders.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; 5-10 years of relevant experience in credit operations, loan processing, or financial services; strong understanding of credit assessment principles and financial statement analysis; proficiency in using financial software and credit management systems; excellent communication skills in English and Swahili; ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines; attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy.
