HSSSEQ Coordinator

Job Description

The HSSSEQ Coordinator is responsible for managing health, safety, security, sustainability, environment, and quality objectives for the Tilenga Project under the supervision of the Contract Manager. The role involves drafting and implementing ISO 9001-compliant Quality Management System (QMS) documentation, actively promoting the Contractor's Net Zero strategy, and maintaining high HSSSEQ standards. Key responsibilities include coordinating HSSSEQ activities within the contract, ensuring contractual requirements are applied and maintained, advising the Contract Manager on HSE issues, and alerting them in case of deviations. The coordinator will also audit subcontractors regularly, promote the 'Activity stop if unsafe' philosophy, and ensure HSEQ management system requirements are understood and applied by contractor management. The role requires regular site visits for coaching, audits, and meetings on HSE matters, including HSSSEQ presentations during periodic monthly meetings with the company. The coordinator will lead accident and incident investigations, conduct HSEQ audits, manage HSE material, and ensure collaborators are exposed to risks as low as reasonably practicable. Additionally, the role involves completing all ISO 9001 documentation, finalizing process ownership, fully implementing the QMS, and conducting full internal audit cycles with comprehensive management review meetings.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health, Safety, Environmental Management, or a related field; Minimum of 5 years of experience in HSSSEQ management, preferably in the oil and gas or industrial sector; ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 certification; Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and international standards; Experience in conducting audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments; Proven ability to draft and implement QMS documentation; Leadership and coaching skills for site teams; Fluency in English; Additional certifications in HSE management systems are advantageous.
