Finance Manager

The Finance Manager is responsible for providing strategic financial leadership and safeguarding the financial health of the business. The role ensures the Company maintains strong financial controls, protects company assets, optimizes cash flow and working capital, delivers timely and accurate financial information, strengthens governance, and supports profitable business growth. The Finance Manager acts as a business partner to the General Manager by translating financial information into commercial insights that improve operational performance and decision-making. Key responsibilities include leading financial reporting, managing working capital and commercial finance, ensuring governance and compliance, driving systems and ERP improvements, and providing trusted financial leadership to the business. The role involves preparing weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, managing cash flow and liquidity, overseeing debtor collections and supplier payments, ensuring compliance with statutory and tax obligations, and leading the finance team to achieve business objectives.

Professional accountant qualification CPA(K) is required; Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting/Commerce or related field; Minimum 5 years Experience in finance and accounting in either FMCG, Beverage, Consumer goods and Pharmaceuticals or Manufacturing distribution industries; Two years leading finance department; Demonstrated experience in using ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, or Sage X3); Advanced Excel, Margins, pricing, stock, cashflow and working capital exposure; Strong leadership skills; Confident; Solution oriented; Disciplined; Courageous; High integrity; Possess commercial acumen.
