TASAC Job Vacancies, Flag and Port State Control Officers II – 9 Positions Flag and Port State Control Officers II – 9 Positions Tanzania Shipping Agencies Corporation (TASAC ), Dar es Salaam Number of positions: 9 Positions Application period: 13 June 2026 – 26 June 2026 Duties and responsibilities The successful candidates will be responsible for the following duties: Prepare the necessary certificates or documents for issuance to applicants in respect of the registration and licensing of vessels. Maintain central records of ships registered or licensed. Assist in carrying out surveys and inspections for Tanzanian flagged vessels and foreign flagged vessels calling in Tanzanian ports. Assist in the process of carrying out preliminary investigations for maritime casualties or incidents. Assist in the preparation of certificates or detention notices to be issued to vessels. Ensure that individual objectives, targets, and performance standards are developed as part of the individual performance agreement in consultation with the immediate superior. Perform other official duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
