• Lead systems strengthening with local partners, particularly at the District Level • Lead partnership engagements with Local Authorities and the Commercial Utility • Lead advocacy engagements in collaboration with CSOs and other NGOs • Support Local Authorities to develop IMS, Integrated District Plans and budgets • Lead all capacity building activities in the project • Lead formation and training of governance structures at district and sub-district levels (WASH Rights Groups) • Excellent communication skills • Excellent negotiation skills • Ability to initiate new systems, procedures and processes • Excellent facilitation skills • Excellent writing skills • Bachelor’s Degree in any Social Science preferably Social Work, Sociology or Development Studies • Must have at least a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in advocacy programmes/initiatives, capacity and partnership building with an international NGO • Must have proven exposure to local governance structures and systems • Must have proven experience in advocacy and capacity strengthening in WASH projects
