Aviation Associate - Customer Service

Under the general supervision of the head of unit, the Aviation Associate, Customer Service will support processing and managing routine administrative tasks in various functional areas. Key responsibilities include assisting the booking team with passengers' reservations and flight manifests, ensuring only authorized passengers (registered with UNHAS and approved by relevant authorities) are approved for travel, and posting/broadcasting approved schedules to inform passengers. The role involves publishing UNHAS policies/procedures, addressing customer queries and complaints, and producing accurate technical reports (monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc). Additional duties include maintaining records of agencies' applications, updating approved agencies lists, coordinating with UNHAS field/regional offices, and providing training to users on booking policies and the online booking system. The role also involves organizing meetings with customers, conducting surveys to gather feedback, and following up on complaints within 72 hours.

Completion of secondary school education OR University degree (Diploma/Bachelor) in flight dispatch, aeronautical engineering, Air Operations, Air management, or other related fields; strong communication skills in English (verbal and written); ability to produce accurate and concise technical reports; experience in customer service and handling passenger queries/complaints; familiarity with administrative processes and record-keeping; ability to work in a multicultural and inclusive environment.
