DevOps Engineer

Lead and manage all application-level operations within the SaaS environment for a fintech company. This role involves building, deploying, troubleshooting, analyzing, and scaling services across multiple environments. You will collaborate closely with engineering and data teams to make critical architecture and technology decisions. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining large-scale relational and NoSQL databases, queuing systems, and pub-sub systems. Additionally, you will drive integrations with telecom operators, mobile network operators, and value-added service providers (e.g., VPN, VPC, custom integrations). The role requires owning end-to-end monitoring across infrastructure, OS, and application layers, including reporting and remediation. You will manage deployment pipelines across development, testing, and production environments, oversee continuous integration systems, and ensure scalability and reliability of software development tools. Establishing failure management processes to minimize downtime and service disruption is a key responsibility. You will also administer agile and issue tracking tools such as Atlassian Jira and support delivery workflows. The position emphasizes driving automation, documentation, analytics, and the adoption of emerging technologies to improve system reliability and performance.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, systems analysis, or a related field, or equivalent experience; 2+ years of experience spanning at least two IT disciplines, including technical architecture, application development, or operations; Cloud & infrastructure expertise; DevOps & automation skills; Programming & scripting proficiency; System reliability & best practices knowledge; Strong communication skills and business acumen; Experience with large-scale relational and NoSQL databases, queuing systems, and pub-sub systems; Familiarity with deployment pipelines, continuous integration systems, and agile methodologies.
