Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Financial Director to lead the Group Shared Services Reporting function for a prominent organization based in Nairobi, Kenya. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial reporting processes, ensuring compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and managing the Group's shared services operations. Key responsibilities include: leading the preparation of consolidated financial statements, managing financial controls and governance frameworks, overseeing the implementation of IFRS standards across the Group, driving process improvements in shared services, and providing strategic financial leadership to senior management. The role requires a strong understanding of financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and shared services management, with a focus on delivering accurate and timely financial information to stakeholders.
Requirements
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) with a minimum of 10 years post-qualification experience; extensive experience in financial reporting under IFRS; proven track record in leading shared services functions; strong leadership and strategic planning skills; excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities; proficiency in financial software and ERP systems; familiarity with Kenyan regulatory frameworks and tax laws.
