arche noVa invites qualified companies to submit bids for the construction of 5 emergency water tap stands in four IDP camps (Ceel-gaab, Bari mudug, Baantu3, and Bardaale) within Galkayo District, Somalia. The project aims to provide life-saving, inclusive, and sustainable WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) services to conflict and climate-affected communities. The construction will be part of a broader initiative funded by ECHO, targeting Banadir, Mudug, Middle Shabelle, Galgaduud, and Bay regions. The successful bidder will be responsible for adhering to the detailed Request for Quotation Submission Form and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) provided, ensuring compliance with evaluation criteria and project timelines. The work environment will be in IDP camps, requiring sensitivity to the needs of displaced populations.

Companies must submit sealed bids to the arche noVa Galkayo office (located in the same building as Mercy USA in WADAJIR Village) by 12:00 noon on 4th August, 2024; bids must indicate the title of the notice but exclude any other bid-related details. The envelope should be submitted without any identifying marks other than the title. Companies must complete the attached Request for Quotation Submission Form and BOQ, ensuring all sections are filled accurately. arche noVa does not charge any fees for this process. Bidders should have experience in construction projects, particularly in water infrastructure, and demonstrate capability to work in IDP camp environments. Familiarity with WASH sector standards and emergency response protocols is advantageous.
