• Teach and assess Pharmaceutical chemistry/Medicinal Chemistry courses to undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD students within the School of Pharmacy and related programs. • Deliver laboratory and practical sessions in synthetic medicinal chemistry, drug design, and analytical characterization. • Develop and update course materials, laboratory manuals, and digital learning resources. • Participate in curriculum development, academic program review, and accreditation processes. • Conduct and publish research in medicinal chemistry, pharmaceutical chemistry, drug discovery, or related fields. • Secure research funding and engage in collaborative research initiatives. • Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects. • Mentor students in academic, professional, and research development. • Participate in School and University committees, outreach activities, and professional service. • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Dean. • B. Pharmacy, BSc in Pharmacy, or related discipline from a recognized/accredited institution. • M. Pharmacy /Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry or Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a closely related field from a recognized/accredited university. • A PhD in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related discipline will be a distinct advantage. • At least three (3) years of university teaching experience in Medicinal Chemistry or related areas. • Evidence of research and publications in peer-reviewed journals.
