Supply Chain Manager
Job Description
The Supply Chain Manager will lead the execution of effective and efficient procurement and supply chain services for Pharo Ventures, ensuring transparency, integrity, and compliance with established rules and regulations. This role involves providing leadership for all purchasing, warehouse, logistics, and shipping activities while controlling costs and improving efficiency and accuracy in inventory management. Key responsibilities include developing annual procurement and supply chain plans in collaboration with departmental managers, analyzing procurement, logistics, and inventory data to identify bottlenecks and reduce costs, and monitoring key supply chain performance indicators such as procurement cycle time, supplier performance, inventory turnover, logistics costs, service levels, and cost savings. The role also involves leading end-to-end procurement activities, managing tender processes (National Competitive Bidding and International Competitive Bidding), coordinating procurement committees, developing category sourcing strategies, and preparing procurement reports for management decision-making. Additionally, the Supply Chain Manager will prepare, negotiate, review, and administer procurement contracts, manage contracts throughout their lifecycle, monitor supplier compliance, identify and mitigate contractual risks, ensure compliance with organizational policies and ethical standards, and conduct procurement compliance reviews and audits. The position requires ensuring clear job descriptions, performance objectives, and accountability for all team members.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a relevant field; Master's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or Logistics is an added advantage; Minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible experience in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, with at least 3 years in a managerial or senior leadership role; Demonstrated experience managing high-value procurement, including NCB and ICB processes; Strong experience in contract management, supplier relationship management, import/export operations, and ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics preferred)
