Investment Analyst
Job Description
The Investment Analyst will be responsible for conducting comprehensive analysis of new projects, investments, and deals to support strategic decision-making. This role involves preparing monthly and quarterly reports for Senior Management and the Board, respectively, ensuring accurate financial and operational insights. The analyst will perform biannual valuations of the company’s portfolio, appraise new opportunities, and aggregate group budgets and forecasts to guide financial planning. Additionally, the role includes supporting fundraising initiatives and exit strategies, conducting market research for deal origination, and maintaining investor relations. The position requires strong financial modeling skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and the ability to work under pressure while prioritizing tasks effectively.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent Professional qualification (CFA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent) 3-7 years’ experience in a similar role Good interpersonal skills & Integrity Experience in financial modelling. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Strong writing and presentation skills. Self-confident and conscientious. Flexible and willing to take on new types of work. Ability to work under pressure and to prioritise.
