SAP BTP / CAP Developer
Job Description
Oncore Systems is developing a multi-tenant SAP BTP application tailored for the mining industry vertical. The role requires a hands-on developer to take ownership of backend development, including implementation, cleanup, and forward development, while collaborating with the founder who leads design, architecture, and frontend wireframing. Responsibilities include building backend services using the CAP (Cloud Application Programming) model, refining existing technical designs, developing and maintaining multi-tenant application architecture, and implementing UI components using SAP Fiori Elements with support available from the founder. Development will primarily occur within SAP Business Application Studio (BAS), with a focus on SAP HANA Cloud for the database layer and Cloud Foundry for deployment. The role emphasizes async communication due to time-zone constraints and values reliability and clear collaboration over speed.
