Human Resource Officer

Job Description

The Human Resource Officer is responsible for supporting the implementation of human resource policies, procedures, and programs to ensure effective workforce management. The role assists in recruitment, employee records management, performance management, training coordination, employee relations, and compliance with labor laws while contributing to the achievement of organizational objectives. Key Responsibilities - Support the implementation of human resource policies, procedures, and organizational guidelines. - Assist in recruitment, selection, onboarding, and orientation of new employees. - Maintain accurate employee records and ensure personnel files are up to date. - Coordinate employee leave administration, attendance, and other HR-related records. - Support performance management activities, including employee evaluations and follow-up actions. - Assist in identifying training needs and coordinating staff development programs. - Provide support in employee relations matters and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies. - Prepare HR reports, correspondence, and other administrative documents as required. - Maintain confidentiality of employee information and HR records. - Support payroll administration by providing accurate employee information when required. - Assist in implementing disciplinary procedures in accordance with company policies and labor regulations. - Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Management, Accounting, or another related business field. Experience - Minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience, of which one (1) year must be at Job Grade 6. Required Skills - Basic knowledge of human resource management principles and practices. - Basic knowledge of labor laws and employment regulations. - Good communication and interpersonal skills. - Basic computer application skills. - Good organizational and time management skills. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy. - Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. - Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
