• Undertake vehicle inspections, tests, test drives, diagnose faults, and carry out repairs as required. • Attend promptly to defects in workshop equipment and plant to ensure minimal disruption to operations. • Service NCC vehicles by changing engine oil, spark plugs, fuel filters, air filters, and other components requiring replacement to ensure vehicles remain in good working condition. • Determine and requisition spare parts and service materials required for each job using the prescribed requisition procedures. • Assist the supervisor in identifying suitable external garages to carry out major repairs and maintain close liaison with the garages to ensure work is completed satisfactorily before recommending payment. • Maintain tools and equipment required for vehicle maintenance, assist in the acquisition of additional tools where necessary, and keep accurate records of the same. • Clean NCC vehicles, plant and machinery before and after servicing or repairs. • Grade 12 School Certificate. • Craft Certificate in Automotive Mechanics. • At least two (2) years’ relevant work experience. • Excellent troubleshooting skills. • High level of analytical ability. • Honest and trustworthy. • Physically fit.
