Agrochemical – Sales Officer at Jumla Africa — May 2026 POSITION: AGROCHEMICAL- SALES OFFICER (1 POSTS) POSITION DESCRIPTION— Perform product analysis for agricultural pesticides, including insecticides, herbicides, fungicides and synthetic fertilizers. Conduct scientific product needs assessments and market evaluations. Undertake quality control procedures and ensure compliance with industry standards. Promote, market, negotiate, and recommend new agrochemical products to expand market opportunities. Support sales and business development activities to achieve company sales targets. Participate in new product development and product improvement initiatives. Provide technical support and training to customers on crop protection products and their proper usage. QUALIFICATIONS Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Crop Protection, Agronomy, Agricultural Sciences, Plant Protection, Crop Science, or any other related field from a recognized institution. Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in the agrochemical or agricultural industry. Strong knowledge of crop protection products, pesticides, fertilizers, and agricultural regulations. Experience in agrochemical sales and marketing will be an added advantage. Strong communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills. Computer literacy and ability to prepare technical and sales reports.
