Technical Operators

Technical Operators are responsible for operating, maintaining, and ensuring the quality of production equipment at the Kakungulu Plant in Kampala. The role involves machine operation, routine maintenance, quality control checks, and documentation of production activities. Technical Operators work in a manufacturing environment where adherence to safety protocols and company procedures is critical. The position requires a strong understanding of mechanical and/or electrical systems, basic troubleshooting skills, and the ability to analyze production data to identify inefficiencies. Collaboration with other departments, such as quality assurance and production planning, is essential to maintain smooth operations. Experience with automated production lines is advantageous but not mandatory.

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related engineering discipline; At least one (1) year of experience operating production equipment in a manufacturing environment; Good understanding of mechanical and/or electrical systems; Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; Communication and interpersonal skills; Analytical skills; Computer skills; High attention to detail and commitment to quality; Strong safety awareness and adherence to company procedures; Experience with automated production lines will be an added advantage.
