Rwanda Procurement Store Intern

Support Inventory Quality Control by verifying the quantity, quality, and specifications of goods received from suppliers. Assist in inspection processes, report damaged, expired, or non-compliant items to the store team, and maintain accurate records of received and inspected inventory. Contribute to Inventory Management & Stock Verification by supporting routine physical stock counts, reconciling discrepancies between physical inventory and system records, and maintaining accurate inventory data. Assist in Store Organization & Warehouse Operations by organizing, labeling, and storing inventory according to established procedures and safety standards, maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment, and ensuring inventory is easily accessible. Support Shipment Preparation & Dispatch Activities by preparing inventory for dispatch, assisting in packaging, documentation, loading, and shipment coordination, and tracking outgoing deliveries. Develop practical experience in inventory management, stock control, and supply chain processes while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field; 6 to 12 months of experience within Inventory Management, Procurement, or similar roles within a fast-paced environment; knowledge or ability to learn and use inventory or warehouse management systems (e.g., WMS); basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications; good communication and interpersonal skills; proficiency in Kinyarwanda and English.
