We are looking to recruit a qualified Health and Safety Officer who is a University Degree/ Diploma holder in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field who can ensure a safe and compliant working environment on our construction site,conduct site inspections, identify hazards, carry out risk assessments and promote safe working practices. We are seeking a qualified and experienced Health & Safety Officer to oversee health, safety and environmental standards at our construction site. The successful candidate will be responsible for : Key Responsibilities. Conducting regular and daily site safety inspections.Identifying hazards and carrying out risk assessments.Ensure all workers properly use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).Conducting safety inductions, toolbox talks and safety training.Monitoring compliance with HSE/OSH regulations and company safety procedures.Investigating accidents, incidents and near misses and preparing reports.Maintaining accurate safety records, inspection reports and documenting.Monitoring safe working practices, including working at height, scaffolding, excavation, electrical works and machinery operations.Promoting a strong safety culture among all employees and site personnel. Qualifications & Requirements: University Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Health & Safety or a related field.At least 2ā3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a construction site environment.Valid DOSHS/OSH certification and other relevant safety training.Good knowledge of Kenyan occupational health and safety requirements.Knowledge of risk assessment, hazard identification and accident prevention.Strong communication, leadership and reporting skills.Ability to work effectively in a construction site environment.High level of attention to detail, responsibility and commitment to workplace safety.
