Warehouse & Issuing Supervisor

Mkwawa Leaf Tobacco Limited is seeking qualified and experienced individuals to fill the position of Warehouse & Issuing Supervisor within the Green Storage section at its Morogoro facility. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading company in the tobacco industry. About the Role The Warehouse & Issuing Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that the warehouse operates efficiently and safely. You will play a crucial role in maintaining stock levels, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational procedures. Roles and Responsibilities - Ensure daily operations are running smoothly and effectively. - Implement and maintain work schedules and assignments. - Maintain stock levels by ensuring accurate record-keeping and conducting routine checks to verify inventory levels against records. - Prepare work schedules and expedite workflow. - Issue written and oral instructions. - Assign duties and standardize procedures to improve efficiency. - Review records for accuracy of information and compliance with established procedures. - Prepare reports from individual reports of subordinates and suggest changes to increase department efficiency. - Consult with other supervisors to coordinate departmental activities. - Ensure employees are provided with the required training for their area and jobs/tasks prior to assigning work. - Ensure the area of responsibility is maintained in an orderly and safe manner. - Report unsafe working conditions to management and communicate potential hazards to affected employees. - Maintain good working knowledge of SHE policies, rules, and procedures applicable to the area of responsibility and ensure all applicable requirements are adhered to.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, or equivalent. 2-3 Years of working experience in the tobacco industry. Good Communication Skills. Good Computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft software.
