Echowa Ltd is seeking a skilled Backend Developer with expertise in API-first and BUS-driven architecture to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure backend services that power our core business applications. You will collaborate closely with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and high performance of our digital platforms. Key responsibilities include implementing RESTful and GraphQL APIs, optimizing database queries, ensuring system reliability through automated testing, and contributing to architectural decisions that enhance system scalability and maintainability. The role requires a deep understanding of microservices, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native development practices. You will work in an agile environment where innovation and continuous improvement are encouraged.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; 3+ years of professional experience in backend development; Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js; Strong experience with API design and development (RESTful, GraphQL); Knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL) and query optimization; Familiarity with microservices architecture and event-driven systems; Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus; Solid understanding of software development best practices, including version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing; Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment; Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
