Cleaners

The Cleaners at BMC Medical Centre are responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the medical facility. Primary duties include sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting floors; cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, waiting areas, and patient rooms; emptying trash bins and ensuring proper waste disposal; dusting and wiping surfaces including furniture, equipment, and fixtures; and restocking cleaning supplies as needed. Cleaners must adhere to strict infection control protocols and follow safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

No formal education required; basic literacy is an advantage; ability to follow written and verbal instructions; physical fitness and stamina to perform cleaning tasks; familiarity with cleaning chemicals and equipment; willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, or weekends; previous experience in cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred but not mandatory.
