Medical Officer

The Medical Officer will provide quality medical care, diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients. Primary responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, developing treatment plans, performing medical procedures, maintaining accurate clinical records, and promoting high standards of patient care. The role involves providing comprehensive medical care through consultations, developing appropriate treatment plans, and ensuring proper patient management. The Medical Officer will monitor patients’ progress, make necessary clinical decisions, and maintain confidential patient medical records. Additional duties include providing health education and preventive care guidance, collaborating with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals, and ensuring compliance with medical standards, safety protocols, and ethical practices. Participation in clinical meetings and supporting continuous improvement of healthcare services is also expected.

Bachelor’s degree in medicine and surgery (MBChB). Minimum 2 years post qualification experience. Must have studied outside Kenya (e.g. Turkey, Uganda or other recognized international institutions). Valid professional registration and practicing licence. Strong clinical and patient care skills. Previous clinical experience is an added advantage. Strong diagnostic and patient management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality. Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a team environment. Availability to start immediately.
