Project Manager

The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the implementation of disability inclusion programs in Rwanda. This role involves coordinating with local stakeholders, government agencies, and community organizations to ensure program objectives are met. The Project Manager will design project frameworks, monitor progress, and report on outcomes to donors and senior management. Key responsibilities include developing work plans, managing budgets, conducting needs assessments, and ensuring compliance with HI’s policies and donor requirements. The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and project management skills in a humanitarian or development context.

Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Public Health, or a related field; minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in project management, preferably in the disability sector or international development; demonstrated experience in managing multi-stakeholder projects; strong leadership and team management skills; excellent communication and reporting skills; proficiency in English and French (Kinyarwanda is an asset); experience with disability-inclusive development frameworks; knowledge of project cycle management tools and methodologies.
