Junior Accountant

The Junior Accountant will support the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth day-to-day accounting operations. Primary duties include handling financial transactions, maintaining accounting documentation, supporting reporting activities, and ensuring compliance with company accounting procedures and financial standards. The role involves recording daily financial transactions, preparing invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and other financial documents, maintaining accounts payable, accounts receivable, and petty cash records. Additional responsibilities include assisting with bank reconciliations, payroll preparation, expense tracking, and supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting. The position also requires preparing and organizing tax, audit, and other financial documentation, ensuring proper filing of financial records, and maintaining confidentiality of financial information. The Junior Accountant will report to the Finance Manager and perform other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; 1 - 2 years of relevant work experience in accounting; Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting; Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, accounting software, and ERP systems; Knowledge of Peachtree Accounting Software is required; Strong numerical, analytical, and communication skills.
