SNV Ethiopia is seeking a qualified Consultant to undertake a comprehensive supplier prequalification process. The consultant will be responsible for developing prequalification criteria, evaluating potential suppliers based on technical and financial capabilities, and compiling a prequalified supplier database. The role involves conducting market research, drafting prequalification documents, organizing bidder meetings, and ensuring compliance with SNV Ethiopia’s procurement policies and international standards. The consultant will work closely with SNV’s procurement and program teams to align the prequalification process with project needs and ensure transparency and fairness in supplier selection.

Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; At least 5 years of proven experience in supplier prequalification, procurement, or supply chain management; Strong knowledge of procurement regulations and international standards (e.g., ISO 20400, World Bank procurement guidelines); Experience with procurement software or databases; Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills; Fluency in English; Knowledge of Amharic is an added advantage.
