• Lead the effective management and continuous development of the Learning Resource Centre. • Organise, catalogue and maintain print, digital and multimedia resources. • Maintain accurate library records, circulation data and inventory. • Recommend the acquisition, replacement and disposal of learning resources. • Ensure the library provides a safe, welcoming and engaging learning environment. • Foster a culture of reading through engaging literacy programmes and reading initiatives. • Collaborate with teachers to provide curriculum-aligned learning resources. • Support inquiry-based learning through appropriate print and digital resources. • Create themed displays and resource collections that enrich classroom learning. • A Bachelor’s Degree in Library and Information Science, Information Studies or a related field from a recognised institution. • Training in Early Childhood Education, Primary Education or Literacy Development will be an added advantage. • Experience of working in a library, preferably in a school environment. • Experience in a school library or Learning Resource Centre, preferably in a primary school setting. • Demonstrated experience in promoting reading, literacy and library programmes for young learners. • Experience collaborating with teachers to support curriculum delivery and enhance teaching and learning.
